Kent Hoffman
Principal, Chief Mechanical Engineer

Kent has a long history of engineering design as well as management experience in mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) project design. Additionally, Kent has served as a Facilities Engineering Manager and was responsible for managing Century Engineering’s MEP, Structures, Civil, Surveying and Energy Services departments. Kent’s experience has been associated with private and public sector work involving educational, institutional, commercial, and mercantile buildings. Kent typically provides Principal-in-Charge duties, but also has hands on involvement with MEP Design, Quality Control/Quality Assurance, as well as troubleshooting issues that arise during construction phase coordination. Kent has also served as a Consulting Expert and Expert Witness, providing testimony and consultation on various matters over the last 15 years.

He demonstrates talent in fostering a collaborative team environment, driving sustainable and innovative solutions, while ensuring client goals are met, emphasizing a focus on client consultation.

Jason Borowski
Principal, Building Energy Services Manager

Jason’s reputation is that of being a highly knowledgeable, multi-disciplinary engineer. Jason has made effective use of his education within an architectural engineering program as well as managing multi-discipline projects. Jason is well versed in designing and managing complex projects from an HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical perspective. He has an extensive resume of working with architects, developers and owners to execute effective contract documents. He also has a long history as serving as a Quality Control and Quality Assurance manager. Jason has stayed on top of his ongoing education as an engineer and has become a knowledgeable energy manager, commissioning professional, being on-point with our sustainable projects, providing energy modeling services and energy audits.

Steve Heidlauf
Principal, Chief Electrical Engineer

Over the past 31 years, Steve has served as Electrical Designer, Electrical Engineer, Electrical Department Manager and most
recently during the past 15 years as Chief Electrical Engineer. He has an extensive knowledgebase in power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm systems, site electrical distribution and
construction administration including running construction job meetings and owner’s rep services. In addition to Steve’s experience with both electrical design and construction, he has strong client relationships and client longevity with a skill in having positive and effective interface and obtaining repeat project work . Clients typically feel that they are in good hands when they work with Steve. His experience also stretches between the public and private sector, new and renovation work.

Nearing a decade of experience, Devin has created a name for himself in the MEP Engineering field as both a Project Manager and Lead Electrical Engineer. His experience managing multi-disciplinary teams has led to the success of a variety of projects, such as those in the Commercial, Industrial, Multi-Family, and Retail categories. To pair with his Project Management resume, Devin has proven track record of effective electrical engineering design. His knowledge base is seated in power distribution systems, lighting design, fire alarm layouts, and low voltage systems. Devin’s experience as a Project Manager, Engineer, and BIM Manager allows him to provide his clients with a level of coordination and detail that curates confident peace of mind.
